What is the Harmonic Major scale?

Harmonic major is the major scale with a lowered sixth. It borrows the flat sixth from the parallel minor, which is what gives the scale its bittersweet quality, and it fits naturally over major chords with a minor subdominant.

A Harmonic Major is a scale, not a key. It has no key signature of its own — music that uses it is normally written in the key signature of its parent scale, with any extra accidentals added as they occur.
